>>4286533I have not used a 100v, but have used previous models, and Pro2/3 extensively. Could you actually explain the lack of soul and dishonesty? Again, I don't see it that far off from my M10, and certainly better than many other vf's I've used.
>It would be improved significantly if it were a real rangefinderMF experience would be smoother, but less accurate or functional and kinda irrelevant if you use autofocus.
>Broken screen cable series that's overpriced, oversized, and also an anti-ergonomic larp.Could you explain what's anti-ergonomic about it?
>It's actually the choice of lensI still don't understand this point. If someone wants to use a 35mm f2.8 equiv, what's the problem? Most people I know with x100's have it as a side/secondary camera, and still use other lenses with their other systems. I have multiple cameras, but find myself using certain lenses mostly on certain models, and certain combinations I would have no problem purchasing as a fixed lens setup.
>I have SLRs that are like the view from a glass penthouse. That's neat, I gave up on SLR's a while ago. I prefer ORF's and EVF's now, SLR OVF's are kind of the worst of both worlds to me. Do those SLR's give you blackout free shooting? Can you see what's going on around the frame? Can you get a magnified view for confirming focus, or live checking exposure? Are you stuck with focus & recompose?
>Because it's hipster slopJust because some hipsters like it, doesn't mean other people can't have legitimate reasons for liking it as well. There are in fact professionals that do use and enjoy x100 series.
>>4286534Fuji doesn't make any extra money from scalpers selling for a premium. They would've made more money if production was higher, which is why they discontinued early, moved production entirely, and have doubled the output. Up until it's discontinued, you could still order x100v's for MSRP, it just took 1-3 months because of the supply issue.
