>>4290883>Fuji>Listening to engineersxtrans lowers resolution, wrecks colored textures, heightens false color, is anathema to unsharp mask (gets worms instead of grain). if fuji listened to experts, wouldn't they have joined with sigma and invested in foveon, since it actually works like film? no engineer would call xtrans a "more random pattern" btw.
larp dials require moving from the shooting position to adjust. if fuji listened to engineers, they would have either copied nikon SLR ergonomics, or OM SLR ergonomics where aperture, shutter, and focus are all in a line on the lens barrel and can be operated one handed while shooting.
gripless cameras, ever lengthening lenses (because mirrorless mounts are too shallow, the sensor needs to be moved back). they are not listening to camera designers here, they are listening to lens designers and the board of salarymen is going "ooh, aaah" at flatter MTF charts. lens designers can shove it. no one really cares about corner sharpness wide open, and it's crop glass, the hardest part to design for is gone anyways.
leica m mount = 27.8mm deep
fuji x mount = 17.7mm deep
it's too shallow. at least the incidence angle issue doesn't affect aps-c but the lenses simply protrude too far out of the body and nobody gives a fuck about the wide open coma corrections made possible by having extra room for elements. if more elements are desperately needed it's possible for lenses to protrude into the mount.
