If Canon, Sony and Fuji decided to all rise prices tomorrow, people would simply pay more. If the central committee of the Soviet Union decided to double the price of Ladas, they could simply do that. If you try it in a free market where the market sets the prices, you'd lose all sales instantly. But I don't expect a rightoid to understand market economy, it's more like a religion to you.
