Posted here some months ago about getting a x-t20 and also posted the first pics I took.
I don't regret the switch from Sony one bit.
The XF 18-55 and XF 55-200 are fantastic and I edited JPG recipes which I like so much that I don't even bother editing the RAWs anymore for the most part.
Only thing that sticks out is that the AF is inferior to Sony's.
>>4316787Don't buy it at all. The price is super inflated.
Fujifilm seems to become the absolute hipster brand.
Since the x100 series is not an option for people with a healthy relation to money, influencers have started making videos along the lines of "The hidden Fuji gem nobody is talking about" inflating the prices of the x10-30 and even the X-t20. I could sell my x-t20 at a 200€ profit easy on Ebay right now.
The x100v isn't even stabilized or weather sealed at this price.
If I'd want to buy a compact camera right now, it would be the Sony rx100VII considering the prices.
For a larger sensor I would Look at the Ricoh GR III (x)
I hoped for Leica to save the day with the D-lux 8 now, but they crashed and burned spectacularly.
That is the technical aspect, but if you just really want to have it I understand that too, I was also tempted when the X100VI launched, but my brain won over the gut.
