That godox works great but mine died after barely getting wet while in a bag in the rain. I may buy the overpriced Oly flash as it's weatherproofed. The stf-8 has some weatherproofing too, probably quite good. There's also the FL-LM3 that works with Oly only (Panny if you do a mod) but won't work for focus stacking as it has a lot of recharge time. It's weatherproof, cheap and tiny as it runs off your camera's battery. It also can do bounce flash, so it's quite useful. I keep mine on my Olympus, works great after being rained on many many times.
I say get to know your stf-8 and if its limitations bother you buy another flash. You aren't being forced to never use any other type of flash again, you just have options now. Lots of great macro shots were taken with dual flashes like yours. But also don't overspend on a diffuser and flash.
