I've been experimenting with the software I use but I can't seem to get the dreamy, washed out, soft focus type of finish right. I know a significant factor could be the lack of a fast f/1.2 portrait lens but I think software should be able to emulate it very closely.

I don't use Adobe products. I use Corel PSP and Luminar.
