buy a bunch of cardstock or cardboard the same weight you think that box would be made from
trace out the unfolded box shape and glue as needed
if you don't have a printer that can print glossy on card stock (I don't either) then I guess you could be very meticuous with a pencil, ruler, compass, etc. to lay out the design, very lightly, and then paint the cardstock, probably with acrylic, maybe sharpen the outlines with colored sharpie markers, and then if you want it to look nice and glossy you can spray some low-cost clear coat over it and then assemble the box.
Or you could stencil and spray paint it.
I know what you're going to say, you're gonna say dude why would you type all this bullshit up to reply to an offhand comment, I'm on multiple stimulants, you don't have to do it if you don't want to, I enjoyed typing it anyway.
Kind of related, you might like this huge 35mm canister that holds paper towels, I bookmarked the page cause I thought it was cool some time ago:
https://www.greatbigstuff.com/products/camera-film?_pos=1&_sid=c3379149e&_ss=rThey sell just oversized novelty shit. I kinda want the mirror that looks like a 35mm slide myself, picrel:
Anyway now that I've talked about it I think I might actually try to make an oversized film box, it could be fun. Even more fun I think would be to DIY the slide mirror, it should just be a cheap sheet of mirrored acrylic from the hobby store sandwiched between two sheets of foam board or something and then you can paint whatever slide mount graphics on it you want.
