I've paid around $600 for three separate studio photoshoots with photographers and I've got no photos which I'd actually apply to agencies with. I'm the least photogenic person ever and just look nervous, stiff and awkward in literally every photo and I've come to the realisation that the only way I'm going to get the digitals I want is to buy a fucking camera myself and spend however many hours I need to get the photos I want.

What second-hand camera should I buy, specifically for indoor photography of people? Hoping to not spend more than $500 because I've already wasted more than that
