I just impulsevely bought a Afga Box I From 1931. It was pretty cheap and it works pretty well, so I'm not mad. Is there any chance I can shoot anything remotely sharp on it? All the pictures I've seen so far look like dogshit.

it's a cheap model from nearly a century ago. what were you expecting?
see if the lens is clear and "stop it down". it supposedly has three preset apertures that you can access by pulling on that metal tab

I have agfa box 44 and you can get a sharp pic if the camera is mounted on something stable more often than from handheld. Also for 6x9 on a budget I actually prefer agfa clack, it's just more convenient to operate.

It functions a lot similar to the kodaks. You can sharpen things up by closing it down as much as it will let you. I’d try and test it for light leaks, put a small flashlight inside of it and take it in a dark room and see where it leaks from. At least the you won’t be super surprised if the whole roll is spoiled or anything like that.
