How do we stop it /p and save photography?

I do quite a bit of agency testing but this is ominous.

Anon I don't know if you've noticed but the vast majority of clothing sold online is displayed by taking a stock photo of someone and more or less photoshopping the dress on them

Hold up, Adobe is sending processed work that is locally stored on my PC, shit that I shot, ran through their software to fix highlights and shit, and sending the files to their AI machine to develop this? Is this true for old versions of Lightroom not on the subscription model? I'm using the Classic one.

Adobe may "access, view or listen to your Content". 'Content' is defined as: "any text..., audio files, video files, electronic document or images, that you upload, import into, embed for use by, or create using the Services and Software".

Adobe definition of 'Content' says: "any text, audio files, video files, electronic document or images, that you IMPORT INTO THE SOFTWARE"

Straight from the user agreement. Unless you opt out of that shit anything you open in their software they own.

What is a good alternative to LR? I imagine they will close that loophole soon enough. I have the hosts file edited to 127.0.0.1 so Adobe can't talk to the mothership but that's not going to last forever

Its so easy to mislead people. They will just use some other AI thing by a a different name to firely to train on your images. They sure as hell did not say they will not train any AI model on your images. They just named one specific one...

Then they say they will never assume ownership of somebodys work. But their AI will be able to create something that is 99.9999% and then there statement is meaningless.

Both of their paragraphs do nothing to protect your work at all. I am so done with them.
