Favorite philosophical/theoretical books about photography?

Obviously pic rel, and Sontag's "On Photography," but anything else? Thoughts on any of these books?

are there any good books about the technical parts of photography? Like really understanding ISO, light defraction, I don't know, geeky stuff.

Roland Barthe's a philosopher not a photographer, he sounds like a bit of a bitch and a know it all, but since his books are so short and he gets his idea accross clearly I think it's fine, but you do have to be into that high school philosophy professor aura

Do have to admit I read him in french
