1. lighting
2. communicating with your model
Neither of these has anything to do with the camera. The camera is just the intermediary that allows you to capture this. So don’t worry about the camera too much. Get what you can afford that does the job in the manner you need it done.
Back to 1. Lighting. What lighting are you going for? If it’s natural light, fine, learn how to use that. You’ll still want a reflector, and some v-flats if you’re working in a natural light studio. Learn about bounce fill, learn about negative fill. Learn about diffusion. Glamour I assume means you’re focusing on makeup, skincare products, details, so you’ll probably want a hard light reflector, maybe some grids, I’d definitely get a beauty dish. As for what strobe light, that depends on whether you’re going to mainly be on location or in a studio. If you’re not sure or don’t want to commit, rent. I really like the Profoto B10 line, they’re small enough to fit in a backpack and powerful enough to work with outdoors. On the cheaper side Godox makes some really nice lights. Modifiers, look at Westcott, Elinchrom, Chimera if you’re ballin.
As far as 2, communication, you just need to practice and do it regularly, work on building a rapport and supporting your model, making sure they’re comfortable and having fun.
