What am I in for?
Just picked up this camera as a noob because I moved to Europe and don't want to invest in picking up lenses. I actually wanted to buy an earlier model but the shilled me into buying the vii
I told the boss I just wanted something in the $800 range for portraits, B/W street photography and the odd pics when hiking.
I tried looking up guides on YouTube but it seems there are two camps, guys that tell you to set everything to full manual and other guys shilling the Sony autofocus and auto modes saying it's top tier.
What's a good middle ground/p/ ? I find fucking around with every single setting on manual limits my photography and the subject has often moved or walked away
