The GR is best with minimal accessories. In my experience all that's needed is a strap (wrist or neck - your choice) and the flat aluminium lens cap. No keeper string - better to slip the cap in your pocket than have it dangling around hitting the camera when you switch to portrait.
I also got a spare battery which I keep in a tiny SD card pouch alongside the GR in an old Contax belt pouch I had lying around. Or just charge it off a powerbank.
Any more than this and you might as well get a small ILC instead as anon above said.
