So what to look for when buying a second hand Nikon FM2? Since it has a very nitpick build, I'm afraid of operational defections or small failures that previous owners may have caused.

Actually I used to have a Minolta x 700 which was lovely but it has been almost a decade since then and I miss the times. I am currently looking for a budget analog machine, that has great mechanical reliability and lifespan, and preferably supports common film and battery types that I can find at most of the places. But I can sacrifice these for the build quality.

Got this FM2 suggested by a friend, but I'm open to other suggestions.
