If it's like the samyang 12mm f2 I picked up, the lens cap will need a hole drilled for a tether.

But play around with it, and see what it can do. Mine has a focal distance between about .1 and 1 meter, anything after that is just infinite, so I'll have to get real close to a subject to get a good background blur.
