Sorry for the blog post, but I do legitimately need advice.
I have a good day job in healthcare and got into photography after my recording business got off to crap start. I had a camera for filming recorded concerts and turns out I'm way more interested in classical concert photography.
Anyway, I'm questioning if it's worth it. Ideally I'd want to do weekend work about once a fortnight and make enough to supplement my income + pay off gear I've already bought. I honestly just want decent opportunities to work with interesting people and not be miserable doing it.
On the other hand, the struggle of getting clients is making me think maybe I should just focus on the joy of my own nature photography since I already have a good income.
Does it get more fulfilling once you get more regular work? I think I might just be falling for the hustle-bro meme.
