full frame isn't magic, the noise performance on the Z8 is barely better than the X-T5 due to the penalty of the stacked sensor, and that's on top of both already paying the penalty of high MP
1/2500 would mean double the noise, therefore more denoising, so it's a faustian bargain
the real solution would be to use a prime, but those are fucking heavy, less versatile, and harder to acquire a fast moving subject. So sure, skill issue, but the reality is I would have missed this shot with my X-T5 and 300mm f/2.8, simple as that
