OM system is more shameless with their shilling than snoy. They've bought reviewers fucking cruise tickets and any time an olympus/om system product is involved I suspect foul play (like the time petapixel claimed the om-1 was better in low light than the g9ii... fucking lmao. i dont trust the imaging resource sony water spray test either - the d850 had problems too that were likely related to olympus requesting "special treatment" for their competitors, meanwhile you can find a half dozen videos of the same a7riii model IR tested surviving rainstorms)
>>4363102There is absolutely nothing you can get in the same class that is actually the same or better now because 40mp brought xtrans up to the same amount of detail as 24mp bayer FF.
The Ricoh GR would need a new sensor (theirs is worse than some canon DSLRs) and a user serviceable sensor instead of a $250 dust-off fee.
An OM5 or ancient penison GX is not even close to the VI, sorry. The panasonic 20mm might be a sharper lens, but m43 has such shit sensors it's entirely wasted above the sensors native base ISO, which on all but FF sized $2000 penisonics, is actually 4x noisier than base ISO on the x100vi (x100vi base = 100, 200 equiv. normal m43 base = 200. 800 equiv.)
Sony RX1 series is kill, and was always unreliable
A sony a7c with a super shit compact lens like a samyang 35mm f2.8 would be as small as full frame can be but it's not small enough because its apparently impossible to engineer an FF pancake that doesn't make the x100vi lens look good.
