1/800-1/1250 shutter speed on Tv
af w/viewfinder: af-c, auto-11 or auto-5 (used both, 5 seemed better if you can track), focus priority, hold af status high
matrix ae metering, shoot raw, and turn all d-range + noise reduction + clarity, settings off
no aa filter or lens/horizon correction
back button focusing (independent of shutter) and a $30 monopod
everything is off because the processing power spent on any in-camera editing/processing/correction is better used on having the shitty 11 point AF keep up
this camera in auto tends to
-set iso too fucking high unless you're outdoors (then it defaults usually btn 100-800)
-set shutter speed too fucking low (i shot the earlier pics in scene - moving object then did everything above until i started playing w/the shutter speed above)
after doing this im actually more satisfied with this "pos" than my mirrorless nikon z50 mk1...which to be fair was smarter (less fiddling/skill needed to get good photos) BUT the z50 colors were never good. i actually think the KF is better at high isos than the Z50. pentax lenses suck tho
