Full frame, just a bit more expensive and larger, still very compact. The fp has a very good sensor, the S9 is at least a modern sensor.
GR is not pocketable unless you’re wearing cargo shorts/pants, which I don’t. Better to put them into a small daily sling bag.
Interchangeable lenses so when you don’t value compactness you can use actually good lenses. And they’re both L mount so you can use your lenses with a Leica SL series or Lumix S5II or such.
Hard to justify getting a Ricoh GRIII when I already have an fp, but if I had the GRIII I would still need a more full fledged camera.
But if you insist, it’s still better than shooting raw.
