My wages have basically not increased at all over the past two years, while my living expenses continue to climb. I am cutting back on a lot of stuff like eating out and daily caffeine, but the more I look at my budget, the more I realize that I just can't justify shooting film. I did a rough calculation and even with my own scanning it costs a little less than $1/shot. So I need to figure something out.
I've poured over hundreds of sample images lately from various different digital cameras lately and I haven't found a single one that looks good.
I've read that letting exposed film sit causes the shadows to fade, is that true? Is it viable to let a roll sit in my camera for months while I am being ultra conservative with my shots?
