Henri Cartier-Bresson, born in 1908 in Chanteloup-en-Brie, France, is considered one of the greatest photographers of the 20th century and a pioneer of modern photojournalism. Originally trained as a painter, he turned to photography in the 1930s after being inspired by the work of Hungarian photographer Martin Munkácsi.
His eye for composition and timing, combined with his natural curiosity, helped him capture the world in an elegant yet spontaneous way. Cartier-Bresson co-founded the Magnum Photos agency in 1947, shaping documentary photography for generations.

Bresson would be buying the newest auto-everything sony or just using his phone because he notoriously did not give a shit about technical camera skills and wanted it to be a seamless experience so he could just think about composition.

He gave so few shits it took him a whole roll to take a photo of his friend riding a bike.
