I need help anons, I'm actually doing proper work for once.
So I'm doing a photoshoot for a local (Australian) guitarist who's doing a fancy recital. It's mostly for promotion, so we're thinking a few candid shots and a portrait or two; maybe a still life of his guitar to be printed on the program.
The theme is that it's a very Australian gig with lots of Aussie music but we want to avoid it being too patriotic. How can I convey this? I was thinking of shooting near some gum trees if we can find some. Also maybe having him play with some out-of-focus wattles in the foreground? I don't want it to be too tacky. I also have zero portrait expierence; i mainly do wildlife and concert photos.
