they're good on paper, but something about them, maybe the retardation on the owners means that there has never really been a good photo taken with one. they all look like ken rockwell, crooked, oversaturated boomer slop. they also get circle jerked for "muh build quality" but in reality we all know they're about as good as minolta, so about 4th or 5th place in that respect.

nikon actually has really bad color science and the persistent tilting is because nikon has a decades long qc problem with viewfinders not being level

sony and canon are unsurprisingly the best, although sony dslrs are criminally underappreciated because their lens selection was so basic (canon still leads snoy in lenses)
