Ukraine is currently still backed by NATO, not as heavily as some months ago tho, and quite concentrated in 2 to 3 fronts. If we amount all the help it has received Ukraine could've been considered the 5th strongest army in the world. It is a challenge specially when trying to minimize civilian casualties, US for instance couldn't beat a well-organized Afghan insurgency of less than 3000 people nor the Tet Offensive which was a zerg rush of less than 10k people with outdated gear.
