You want a bigger camera with a noisier sensor that cant shoot as fast without losing dynamic range, think 4k60 is useful because a youtuber said so, like spending money, and believed the weather sealing scam that camera companies pushed to sell new models

The difference in sensor performance isn't actually that great, you do however get a decent bump in resolution. Also better AF, a high res viewfinder, a better fully articulated screen, supposedly slightly better IBIS, a second card slot, faster USB, and support for the LA-EA5 A mount adapter. Worse battery life though.

Not much yet, but it's likely to have some of the minor upgrades from the A7CII and retain the same 33mp. Also a higher shutter speed too.

That really doesnt align with other people having the same a7riii survive hours of downpours and arctic freezes. IIRC the hot shoe can cause glitches when water bridges MI contacts and you have to pay attention to the lens you use because sony does not explicitly label things as fully WR or not, but that’s the extent of it. It wasn’t even as well sealed as the new ones.

At best sony has a manufacturing issue, rather than a design issue, causing many but not all bodies to fail. Kind of like their shutters. At worst these people had cameras that "survived" only to corrode and die later.

No canon makes the worst cameras. Imagine losing the AP, britains PA, the canadian press, reuters, and USA today to sony and just being left with getty and the NFL. Reuters was with canon just last year and then BAM, snoy’d.

No one has lost harder than canon. They gave away free R1s at the olympics and all that happened was people preferred sony.
