"chroma" noise is a RESULT from interpolating your meme fake colors from a subsampled noisy image
it's literally generated in software and isn't part of the image
you just take noisy samples and try algorithm'ing them into color and you get shitty results
that's all
bypassing the demosaicing altogether and just exporting 1/4 res monochrome downsampled gives you interpolation-nightmare free perfectly fine photos every time
no moire, no memes, just honest good photon to pixels with no meme software mucking things up
