What are some retard proof settings for taking pictures in the snow tomorrow (it snowed more today). It’s probably gonna be cloudy and nice snow better than the pic.

Recommended settings +1 stop (use exposure compensation dial or set film iso to 1/2 its correct value on the meter)

Exposure value might be 12-13 according to

For those EVs the aperture and shutter speed would be f/8 and 1/60s or 1/125s.

It wont look good but you'll get an image every single time no doubt.

I don't think I've managed to take actually good photo (outside of macro) when it's overcast, so good luck with that.

Spot meter the snow and set exposure to +1,3 of that.

Mostly landscape shots and I’m not a huge photo person these are just for memories but hopefully come out decent.

I'm a film noob but shouldn't it be way more than 1.3 EV for snow in the sun? That should be zone 9, so more like +4 EVs?
