>>4397396Normal people who aren't larping failed painters actually want sharper lenses. The sharpest. Every single year they are clamoring for better fine detail and higher resolutions from their phones and the only thing keeping dedicated cameras afloat is supreme sharpness. Sharpness is, in fact, the only reason there is even an accessible camera market for funky lenses to exist in otherwise it would just be stuff like pentax and leica, expensive and mediocre with no economy of scale going for it.
A blurry photo is a ruined photo to a normal person. It doesnt matter if you're using a camera to cope with your inability to paint and extreme edge blur and swirl looks cool, almost no one else wants that shit and they do not find it fun when they can't take a standard group photo without pre-planning to not use the outer 1/3s of the frame.
Normal people use cameras to preserve moments in time, nothing else, and use photoshop, paintbrushes pens and pencils to be creative.
It's just camera nerd gearfags larping as HCB that use lens purchases to be creative.
Hey, now that I put it like that, it kind of sounds like you're the gearfag doesn't it?
"You express your creative side by buying lenses"
