Because they insist on continuing to use a battery pack that is literally two Li-ion AAs inside the chips in most cameras do the bare minimum and cant support major upgrades. Notice these are all newer cameras. The hardware in older models, even the a9ii, just cant support it without it being slow as fuck like the la-ea4 native focusing hack is slow as fuck.
