Looking for some advice on this photo. I was shooting a headshot for a client and though I wouldn't say it's terrible I would say it's severally not good. How could I improve my headshot game?
Idk how to attach exif data so here's the settings:

You made him look spooky. Try shooting at a different angle up/down and left/right.

Non white background would probably be better, and maybe have the contrast higher between the left and right side of his face, but darker.

His jawline (after the chin) blends in his neck, confusing the depth a bit and making an oddly flat effect.

You've accentuated what appears to be some thinning starting in his widows peak. Try an angle that doesnt look right down into the roots, to add some thickness to the hair. Or, just move the hair.

His shirt is kind of frumpy looking. Have him fix his collar. The lighting lower down on his shirt is nice.

The lighting on his right cheek blends a bit too much into the white of the background. It feels slightly jarring.

Nothing intrinsically bad about the angled Kubrick shot... but ask yourself what the purpose of this photo is? What do you want to convey? How does he want to look?
