>>4402010The G7 is actually a fair bit smaller, the lack of viewfinder hump and that little bit off the thickness makes it just that much easier to slip into a pocket (especially trousers). If you've got a bag then you can likely fit in it something even bigger and better than the G5. You're not really giving up that much, you're not going to be carry a flash around with you as well, you only need a single dial if you're shooting in Av most of the time, I'm assuming the screen tilts all the way up for selfies.
