The thing that sells is not actual information on your hobby, its having a fake friend experience. That video you watched is just you pretending to have a friend to talk about camera lenses with. Nobody in real life will do that.
But on youtube you can find a fake friend who will, even though its only them talking, it fakes that experience enough to satisfy most people.
And thats youtube summed up on any hobby. That is why it exists, that is what 99.9% of the human race wants. They just want a fake friend to talk about their hobby with, they dont actually care all that much about the actual hobby.
if you are .01 who actually is deeply interested in cameras, you will not be provided for by youtube.
Also consider the following, why is an actual person even in the video about a camera?
It could just be all footage taken on the camera or of it with voiceovers.
But its not...
