>>4408608Welcome to the world canon users have been living in for the past 10 years. That will be $2199 plus tip.
>>4405430R6II if you want a professional camera. End of story.
All pro cameras do basically the same thing and an R6II is $1700 used now, and if you wait for a deal it could be less. Nikon is just silly. A used R6II is functionally identical to a Z6III, but has quality NR baked into the raw to compensate for the exact same low ISO DR hit the Z6III has so no one ever noticed a problem. Also canon's raw video is ACTUALLY RAW, not a mislabeled marketing scam that should get nikon sued.
And if you cant afford nikons bulky overcorrected S primes, you can buy EF glass that is BETTER than low end Z glass and use it with native performance. A lot of EF mounts pro zooms are still competitive with mirrorless glass, and the older, cheaper, softer ones may even be preferable for the more organic, glowy, poppy look of an "inferior" lens. On Nikon you dont even get the choice to use classic glass natively, half the fucking mount doesnt autofocus on the FTZ and those that do take a performance hit.
Do not buy the ZF. If fuji brings the X-T5s autofocus up to par with the XM5s improvements it will be nicer to use than the ZF.
Sony A7CII as a premium hobbyist camera. If you go sony, please buy the LA-EA5 and use old minolta lenses for stuff like portraits. It massively improves the color rendering compared to modern sony and tamron/sigma.
Fuji XM5 if you want a really cheap hobbyist camera.
If you are actually interested in ogling stuff after taking a photo, that's great no matter how much people bitch (because pixel peeper chads called their cameras shit lol), but none of these cameras are high resolution enough for you and you should probably go read jim kasson's blog.
