Pixel level detail ends up looking as bad as a phone. Phones have way more accurate auto white balance and higher quality sharpening, noise reduction, and moire reduction, more on par with lightroom and capture one, while camera bodies lag behind darktable. Considering they get such good results out of a pin sized sensor while pro cameras need a MBP running a serious raw editor to simply set white balance, levels, sharpening, NR, and moire removal, so it looks better than a phone, is a joke. DR control on cameras is also a fucking joke compared to phones.
The fact that just one overpriced gimmicky boomer styled (aka "consumers DO NOT BUY THIS WE HATE YOU" design) canon that exists solely has AI NR is a fucking shame. Every iphone has that and AI skin smoothing.
The only people claiming their camera shits out good jpegs are
1: fanboys of smaller brands that are angry that sony killed their favorite, and the odd canon fanboy mad that sony is taking his brands FF market at the moment
2: fujifags who think a crappy faded teal vsco preset still looks good after you turn 18 and digital black and white isnt cringe
Everyone else can say what they want but we all know they shoot raw
If you want good colors and DR, pay someone to edit your raws (aka drop your film off and order scans), or use a phone.
