>>4412413>lowering the excessive fps stat for overspending sports retards who can afford the first party lenses anyways is worse than banning EVERYONE from having choices other than purposefully poorly made non weather sealed lenses and $3000 bazooka sized cannon L lensesFucking what?
Please remember, for half a second, that at the last olympics, half the photographers were still using DSLRs that shoot 10-15fps. The a1 and a9iii are for actual retards, or maybe AI piloted drones. Humans have good enough timing skills to shoot sports in single shot mode.
Opinions like yours are why the whole world views gearfags as subhuman.
>da specs! With a used nikon z6ii i can build a professional weather sealed kit for 1/3 the price of canon L just by buying tamron f2.8 zooms. Sony is about $500 more expensive because id have to buy a used a7iv to get weather sealing but still cheaper than canon overall due to the price difference between Ls and the tamron f2.8 zooms. We’re not even talking about shit like the sirui 85mm f1.4 yet. Canon’s *EF!!!!* 85mm f1.4 L is twice the price and RF only has a $2800 f1.2 thats the size of a fucking basketball. How is this defensible? Why would I spend more on equipment for my photography business to take the exact same photos, with the exact same 200% zoom sharpness? If canon thinks L stands for luxury they need to look in a mirror. All their shit is made of gray plastic and designed like mid 2010s budget electronics. They aren’t exactly apple. One look at the results of this policy and it becomes very easy to believe sony has the majority share of the FF mirrorless market and nikon isnt dying. Professional means photography that makes money. Spending less on kit to get the SAME result means making more money, and spending less to insure/replace equipment, with NO real loss. Just dpreview posters saying "but at 300% zoom in the extreme corner wide open…".
Canons customers = institutions with contracts that havent expired yet
