>>4411782No, because with long lenses, you support the lens, not the camera body
The ergonomics of the ZF are fucked with nikons "normal" lenses because they are the size of sony's G masters and are just a little too long to balance without a big fucking grip, while being just short enough that you know you could one hand them more comfortably.
Nikon only makes 3 actually normal sized normal lenses and they are all fucking dogshit
>40mm f2Plastic trash, even the mount is plastic, stupid mustache shaped field curvature, NOT a "classic microcontrast lens", looks modern, just shit, because it is made of plastic with modern element design. Poorly.
>28mm f2.8See above, ASP-C kit prime level build doesnt belong on a full frame camera with how much nikon charges. If you want a classic micocontrast whatever its on F mount or sold by voigtlander with a 500% markup.
>26mm f2.8BZZT BZZT *misses focus*. Vignettes more than every sony lens put together, awful mechanism, tiny tube that sticks out might break, doesnt even have filter threads unless you put on the hood that protects the tiny tube. Doing so makes it no longer a pancake, so they might as well have designed a proper 28mm f2.8 with a metal build to begin with. Fucking marketing department.
At least canon's entry level small primes are made with SOME actual metal and glass, so ignore that thing. It's not even smaller or cheaper than a used R6II. And once you put the mandatory grip plate on it'll be about the size of a Z8 minus some thickness, plus some dials you likely dont use because the shutter dial locks at awkward spots and there's no aperture ring lenses except voigtscamder.
If you really, really want classic cool,
