this one is a bit overboard but - grain shouldnt just be an overlay - it needs to "reconstruct" your image, lightroom - surprisingly - does that, but the grain is only black and white, which is sufficient for some, not for me. there is literally no other photocentric tool that acts this way other than dehancer.
it is still far from perfect (film, haha) but all the other posts tagged in this post wouldnt pass at all.
