I've seen more good photos taken on midrange FF and DX DSLRs and simple film SLRs than any other camera types, and that is only because midrange FF/DX DSLRs and simple film SLRs have been more common with more serious photographers for a longer period of human history.
/dst/ is full of hot trash that looks like a tumblr mood board titled "vibes to write dystopian heroin chic hazbin hotel fanfics to". lol. because the posters are mostly autistic kids.
>>4413453>>4413451Are you sure?
PNS vs DX vs FF vs MF, 8mp pic fits on 4k. This is not a "pixel peep", it's only cropped so it can be shown to you without taking a full sized screenshot. But pixel peeping is fine too. If I'm taking a 100mp photo of singapore i'm going to actually look at it from time to time, deal w/ it.
>inb4 where is the equivalent" ISOs, saar? this is not fair!In real life you probably wouldn't use equivalent ISOs, because distance to subject usually allows opening the aperture more on a larger camera without losing any meaningful DOF, or maybe you just wouldn't want deep focus for a photo that's never going to be looked at more closely, or want deep focus period. Or in daylight when 99% of people take pictures you'd be at base ISO regardless. So called equivalence is for low light, close up shooting with a minimum shutter speed, assuming there are no major differences in resolution or camera technology... equivalence just doesn't matter folks. Everyone who has used a camera knows you can shoot a landscape at f1.8 if you just hold the camera up high enough to exclude the near foreground, and that on a PNS you end up using a high ISO because you can not open the aperture any more. Clearly things are made and bought for a reason, and it's not a conspiracy, or consumerism plus "NPCs".
I think you should let people enjoy the cameras they like using and can afford with the money they make, instead of declaring your basement dwelling self the people's commissar of camera distribution.
