>less missed shotsmore, because the auto-everything focus fucks itself up constantly unless you buy a TOTL canony, or about the same if you have any skill and put both in the same 3d tracking mode
>less aberrationsovercorrecting lenses for 0 aberrations wide open makes uncanny and fake looking pictures
>less fusspreview on, preview off, preview on, preview off... just to get autofocus to work in every lighting condition. lots of menu diving for settings that were physical dials on DSLRs - and only the top of the line pro cameras like the sony a1 bring any of that back.
i have spent weeks to months with each of these mirrorless cameras:
sony a1, sony a7cii, sony a7c, sony a7iv, sony a7riii, nikon z7ii, nikon zf, nikon z6iii, canon r5
mirrorless fucking sucks. it's not there and never will be for two simple reasons: the EVFs, and the mounts (too shallow, encourage lens design more fitting of machine vision systems than photography). they are "professional" appliance-cameras with all the soul and goodness sucked out to make them more foolproof for people who have literally never used a camera before. the framerate focus at the cost of dropping down to APS-C image quality? yeah that's because these cameras are intended to be purchased by businesses and placed in the hands of non-photographers who are just there for a minimum wage paycheck. actual photographers still find 10fps to be excessive. the lenses are sharp wide open because the people they are for dont know how to set their aperture, and those who do, dont take photos, they look at charts.
its for the fashion victims, consumerists and clueless who are left over after skilled, sane and knowledgeable people are satisfied
