>>4416314Because for photographers it is just a nice extra. Most people can hand hold a second exposure, so IBIS is really only going to give you consistency beyond that. That means its only going to be useful for stationary subjects. If you like doing night landscapes, sure, it's good, other than that, not really. For video, you can partially replicate it with a gimbal. Generally good IBIS is better than a good gimbal, but it once again depends on what you're doing. There's not many scenarios where IBIS will be good enough but a gimbal won't be.
