Institutions buy cameras in bulk, replace them when the extended warranty is up, and don’t give a single shit about subjective artistic metrics. They don’t even give a shit about general reliability because they drop and lose so many cameras that the cost of frequent repairs and replacements matters more than how long they last in normal use, there are always spares, and sony’s business service is surprisingly good.
Saying sony is good for scoring a business deal is like saying dell computers are the best and anything the US army uses is definitely class leading. Especially their coffee. Best shit on earth!
