I have owned about 10 film cameras and knew what I was getting into with it, and was ready to lose the money if it did break down. Its a decent camera when working other than the horrible tiny viewfinder. Still way cheaper than buying a modern mirrorless and set of lenses and just like a $300 film camera could do everything the g2 can do and get identical looking photos, so could a $300 dslr do everything the $3k mirrorless could.
