I just go with Kentfaith adapters. They are of good quality, looks nice and are priced reasonably.

Yeah they're about half of the Canon ones, but the question remains: what are the €10 ones lacking?

They have sloppy tolerances as in wiggle at the mount, look and feels cheap and may not be adjusted properly for infinity, but some I'm sure can be usable. If it is simply for testing then go for the cheapos, if you expect to use vintage glass then go for the slightly more expensive ones. The really high end (German) ones are just a waste of money.
