I'm not a photography, but I noticed that I can tell apart cameras with somewhat high accuracy just by looking at pic.

Yellow-green, horrendous chromatic aberration, but sharp otherwise.

That is due to the lens, not the camera.

I don't really care about OP being a schizo or photography but I did attend my local protest last weekend and I have to say the vast majority of people were shooting cannon DSLRs, followed by Nikon DSLRs, followed by a mix of Sony and Fuji mirrorless/compact models; maybe one Olympus? I saw only one other definite film shooter there, a guy with a mf cranker of some stripe (bronica or hassy maybe? I'm not well versed on mf cameras) but be appeared to also have a digital back he switched to after some time. Make of this what you will.

Yes, but... Would you mount canon lens on sony, or vice versa? Probably not, because converters suck.
And I have noticed that all canon lens (at least older DSLR ones) and digishit canons have issues with chromatic aberration. New EOS R lenses seem to be better. Or maybe its corrected by the camera better who knows.

Obviously. And if you consider that monitors are 8 bit, and sensors, even shitty phone camera sensors, output 10 bits, it gives you quite a freedom to play with colors.

Anyway, I don't have a DSLR or mirrorless, but I have bunch of digishits. Canon SX160 IS (Possibly Canon CCD), Sony DSC-HX100 (most definitely Sony CMOS), Nikon S32 (unknown CMOS), and Fujifilm S4200 (which might be developed by Taiwanese OEM not Fuji, but it has a Sharp CCD I think). And I'm curious how would they capture yellow-green LEDs and lasers.
