>>4426713>What is the best film camera ever made?Retarded question, without setting some criteria.
One of your criteria is obviously value, because the F6 is objectively technically superior to the F5, but you've written it off, probably because it's significantly more expensive.
If we're talking about value, I'd say the F100 is better than the F5. Smaller, lighter, cheaper, still well made and 90% as technically capable as an F5.
If one of your criteria is that it's a rangefinder, obviously these Nikon cameras won't even qualify. No camera does everything perfectly.
Technically, every single medium format camera is technically superior to any 35mm camera - and so on, with larger formats.
Yes, the Mamiya 7 is great and the Mamiya 7ii is better - but the Fuji GF670 has a far superior rangefinder (but doesn't have interchangeable lenses). A Hasselblad V system camera is tougher than any of those rangefinders, but is less enjoyable to shoot. A 503CX is technically superior to a 500CM, but the former is way more expensive to repair than the latter. The far cheaper Mamiya RB system has way more lenses available for it and is, let's face it, almost as good as the Hasselblad V system, but it's less nice to carry around and is ugly. This could go on forever.
I've owned all of these cameras at various times. Your question is retarded.
