Aviphot is dramatically different from any ilford/kentmere/kodak film I have seen. Very clear base, dries perfectly flat, lightpiping like mad, extreme contrast, infrared sensitive. I always assumed they have their own coating line but idk. I never used rpx 25 so I don't know if it is the same.
>>4436071I've been filling my freezer with it in preparation for this eventuality. I can swap hp5 for xx or ektachrome for velvia and tolerate it, but there's nothing out there like Aviphot.
