I had the Fuji WP, the Canon, the Nikon that rotates, the Dimage and a variation of the Sony compact. They were fun but the image quality was atrocious. They're still fun.
It's easy to look back on those older digital cams with rose colored glasses, and they were cool too. I still have the Fuji and do use it periodically when I'm on vacation and just trying to live in the moment. I have a variation of the Nikon rotating cam that has manual functions and shoots a whopping 3.34mp on compact flash.
The bottom line is, the soulless cams on the bottom, yes even the M4/3 Lolympus, would absolutely fucking American History X curbstomp the top row in every single metric and I'm betting the Olympus could be concealed in a pocket with the right lens.
