unless you are a working professional buying TOTL kit brand new with a warranty and the canon pro services subscription, canon basically isn't an alternative... you're getting scammed hard if you buy less than an R6II and an L lens, while the fucking 12-60 lumix kit zoom is weather sealed and comes with a hood (unlike non-L canon lenses) and an e-m5 iii not only mogs the RP and every canon APS-C in single shot, but has high res pixel shift modes, focus bracketing, and support for hundreds of super cheap, super sharp, super versatile lenses
hobbyist options are as follows:
